II. Elementary Education Coursework
Admission to Teacher Education Programs:  Admission to the Department of Curriculum and Instruction -- Formal admission into C&I is required to take the following courses– 2.75 GPA; Completion of ED 201 with a B or higher, Completion of Engl 102; Comm 101 and a UI Core Math with no more than one C (all other grades must be a B or higher) Second semester sophomore standing (40 credits); completion of 100 hours of experience working with children and/or youth.
