Mentors Community Spotlight

The ELE project has produced several generations of undergraduate student mentors that have enhanced teaching/learning in various design classes in Mechanical Engineering. In addition to promoting learning and growth among students enrolled in these courses, the mentors community that has been developed has been a source of personal/professional development for the mentors. Come to this workshop to gain an insiders view of the UI Mentors Community.
Workshop Themes:
Understand the purpose of various resources available to enhance in-class learning through the use of peer mentors. | |
Observe an actual student-led mentoring meeting and training session. | |
Ask questions about purpose, implementation, and sustainability that arise through the orientation and fishbowl observation. |
