Cirque of Towers (Wind River Mountains) WY
From Moscow it is 792 miles to the trailhead for Cirque of Towers. Drive to Coeur d'Alene, turn east on I-90, go almost to Butte and turn south on I-15, go down to the cut-across road to go over Jackson Pass and down to Jackson. Turn right and go through a few small towns then go to the Big Sandy Trailhead. Hike about 5-6 miles to Big Sandy Lake and then up over Jackass Pass and down into Lonesome Lake area.
The area has a hundred+ routes for traditional climbing.
