Smith Rocks, Oregon
getting there from UI: From Moscow, drive to
Pullman then to Colfax, turn west on Highway 26. Drive to Washtucna, turn
south on 260 through Khalotus and then on to Highway 395. Go down through
Tri-Cities area continuing south into Oregon, south to I-(east on I-80) to
connect with I-84 (go west down the Columbia River). On the exit for Dallesport,
turn south on highway 197 continue south, merging with highway 97, go through
Madras and down to Terrebonne, turn east out of town and follow signs a couple
of miles to Smith Rocks State Park.
