Idaho Mind Works
Description
The goals of the Idaho Mind Works are to enhance learning by:
- Providing real, hands on, engineering problems, situations, and examples.
- Foster an enjoyable atmosphere that is comfortable yet professional, and enhances social activities
- Attracting people by appealing to their natural motivations
- Becoming a self sustaining entity
To monitor progress towards these goals, quarterly assessments will be performed.
Timeframe
Beginning Fall 2002, the IMW will be available to students. Ultimately, it will be it's own free-standing facility.
Proposed location: EP 103
The mentoring program at the University of Idaho will also be closely linked to the IMW.
