Engr 215 CIVIL ENGINEERING ANALYSIS AND DESIGN

Objective:

To introduce the students to the engineering design process, and acquaint them with the analytical, engineering and communications tools needed in the engineering profession

Prerequisite: CE 115, Engr 105, and Math 170, Corequisite: Physics 211

Reading:

The reading assignments indicated in the course calendar correspond to sections in the text. Read the assigned section before each lecture.

Homework:

Homework sets will be assigned on a regular basis. They are due on the dates shown.

Exams:

There will be one exam, and a final exam. The final exam is comprehensive.

Grading:

Project - 20%

Homework - 20%

Mid-term exams - 30%

Final Exam - 30%
