Cors 236 calendar of events leading to Exam 3 (8 April)

	25 March We had our first live Zoom meeting to get ideas about running the class remotely. We decided that, starting next week, we will have live Zoom class meetings M and W at class time (see below). Those who want another time for meetings should comment on the Discussion thread in BbL. There are now several discussion threads in BbL. You may post questions and answer one-another’s questions.	27 March 10:30 Live Zoom (class time) Prepare in advance by taking the 2 active quizzes and studying BbL-posted video (Links to lectures) of : (i) 3^rd variables/correlations, (ii) controls, (iii) the Monty Python penguin video and (iv) the short video interpreting the penguin video. Combined, these are 50 minutes of viewing time, although longer if you actually study them. This material is from book chapters 18, 19, which you should go over afterwards. Some of it was covered while we were still meeting in class.
Weekend: Get caught up over the weekend by watching all videos on correlations, 3^rd variables and controls (including Monty Python penguin sketch). These videos are under Links to Lecture on BbLearn, and they are identified in the title with ‘watch dates.’ Complete the personality survey (under quizzes on BbLearn). Just before lecture on Monday, watch the 28min lecture video on Experiments (general)
30 March 10:30 Live Zoom (class time) We will watch the Prisoner’s of Silence video during class (22 min), then go over how it connects to experiments during the remainder of class.	1 April 10:30 Live Zoom (class time) We will watch the Nova video (20 mins) then go over how it ties to experiments during the remainder of class.	3 April 10:30 Live Zoom (class time) We will go over old questions and maybe discuss some quizzes that count for points.
6 April 10:30 Live Zoom (class time) Same as for 3 April.	8 April Exam 3 given 10:00-noon PDT. Exams will be available for download as pdfs at 10:00. Answers should be either uploaded to BbLearn or sent to class email. Instructions have been given by BbL announcement.	10 April 10:30 Live Zoom (class time) Start material for exam 4. 4 quizzes have deadlines tomorrow (11 April).
