For each of our Traditions, we'll be introduced to:

1. a sampling of their primary texts, e.g., Story of Salmon or the Bhagavad Gita

2. the spiritual landscape over which one travels - the deities, nature of the creation, the self and of spiritual reality

3. the means of traveling that landscape - ceremonies, rites of passage, pilgrimages, teachings

4. the goal or summit destination of their journey, e.g., Moksha or Nirvana

5. using the separate lenses of the humanities and social sciences to do some integrative thinking,

we'll attempt to reveal and appreciate the "there, there" in each of these traditions (differences - the separate paths),

and in our own lives (our shared commonality - the summit).
