With his one tusk, large belly (well feed), bowls of foods, the elephant headed Ganesha is the god of wisdom, as well as the patron of business and commercial endeavors, and provider of well-being and prosperity.  With his stead a mouse, one who can gnaw through any barrier, there is no obstacle or earthly goal that can withstand Ganesha's intentions.
