I am currently working with the Coeur d'Alene and Nez Perce Tribes of Idaho, developing a long-term partnership in which students would conduct ethnographic research directly applicable to tribal needs.  The program is a summer field school, for qualified graduate students, focusing on applied ethnographic research.

For the summer term of 2001, a limited field project is being coordinated with the Coeur d'Alene Tribe, focusing on the transmission of intergenerational identity and its role in education and health care.   Please check-in periodically for up-dates

Instructor: Rodney Frey

Course Prerequisites: ANTH 422/522 Plateau Indians, ANTH 410/510 Research Methods in Anthropology, or their equivalents
