I work primarily in painting and mixed media, and most of my pieces incorporate maps, charts, photos and other human symbols to express personal, political, social and environmental themes. I am interested in the human need to understand and organize information and the world we live in.

I have lived and traveled in many worlds and my work has been inspired by these travels, real and imaginary. I have always been interested in visual symbols from other cultures. My paintings include images from real life mixed with myths, dreams and personal memories.
