Options/Strategies for Viewing PDF documents posted to Bblearn:
1. Avoid Google Chrome (or use 'Save Link As' option on Chrome)—instead use another browser, such as Microsoft Edge, Firefox, or Safari.


2. On Windows  “right click” the mouse on PDF links in BbLearn and Choose “Save Link As” (on mac it is keyboard Control –  mouse Click)
This will save the file to the computer and you can then (double)click on it to open in in Adobe Acrobat reader.


3. Sometimes PDF documents with complex formatting do not display correctly in a web browser’s native
PDF viewer. The solution is to open the document in Adobe Reader. The following directions are for
Firefox:
NOTE: Most computers have Adobe Reader installed. If yours does not, you can download this free
reader at: http://get.adobe.com/reader/
On the Adobe Reader download page, be sure to uncheck the optional offer if you do not want
it.
In the Bblearn course, open the document by clicking on the link.
When this happens, click the Download option in the PDF viewer’s menu bar:
A new window will open. Choose the Open with Adobe Reader option and then click the OK button.
The document will open in Adobe Reader, which displays the document as the author intended
