The
methods to study our different hypotheses were actually quite similar. You
see, I am only one tool from the tool kit. My friends like Kestrel, Air
Stick tester, and Light Meter Reader all worked hard with me to gather
information and provide data that my team members could analyze. | |||||||||||
Temperature
and ventilation readings will be taken outside one of the classroom windows, inside that
window, on the opposite wall between 1’ and 3', through the corridor, and
repeated to the opposite side of Shoup Hall.
|
"Now, how did we do that again?" |
||||||||||
We
will study the effects of having no exterior shading devices, interior
blinds, wall color, wall texture, the % of glazing and its placement within
the classrooms and offices and compare them to levels recommended for the
human eye. |
|||||||||||
We will analyze its current energy usage, its construction, all of the previous data we have gathered, as well as any available sustainable products or practices that could be installed in Shoup Hall. |
