High School is a mixed bag for most of us.  The familiarity of the environment and support of family and friends is needed but often the academic material covered is not challenging/ interesting/ relevant to success as a young adult.  In what ways did your high school education prepare you for adult life?  success in college?  What topics were most useful?  What would you add to the curriculum or the High School experience that might better prepare youth for independent life/ college success?
