We have been reading about the types of life challenges that kids in middle school can face and the impacts of those: parental divorce, parental job loss, academic failure, peer problems, illness, addiction, moving to a new school. Think back to these years and reflect on the types of challenges you encountered, how you were supported (or undermined) by friends/ teachers/ family, what you learned from these experiences, how they shaped you as you exited childhood and entered adolescence. What supported you well? What could have been improved? type your response into a one page response. If you don't respond fully to the prompt, you won't receive the extra credit.
