Extra Credit Nine/ Chapter 13b-- Did you encounter any of the challenges of middle school?

We have been reading about the types of life challenges that kids in middle school can face and the impacts of those: parental divorce, parental job loss, academic failure, peer problems, illness, addiction, moving to a new school.  Think back to these years and reflect on the types of challenges you encountered, how you were supported (or undermined) by friends/ teachers/ family, what you learned from these experiences, how they shaped you as you exited childhood and entered adolescence.  What supported you well?  What could have been improved?

type your response into a one page response.  If you don't respond fully to the prompt, you won't receive the extra credit.
