Biographical Information

I am a practicing statistician with broad interests in the application of statistics to real world problems. I have worked with scientists in agriculture, biology, business and economics, geology and hydrology, and natural resources including fisheries, forestry, range, recreation, and wildlife among others.

My more esoteric interests include linear models, experimental design, and generalized nonlinear models of mixed data. I received a Ph.D. in Statistics from Colorado State University in 1971 and have taught at the University of Idaho since 1978.
