excellent source of material about the characteristics of Mayan
architecture. It also provides a very detailed account of The
House of the Governor at Uxmal. I highly recommend it.

excellent source of information about the Temple of Warriors at
Chichen-Itza. Volume one covers the excavation and restoration of the
structure and volume two contains color plates of the stone carvings.
