Peer Coaching - process whereby a colleague listens in a class session, collects data on teaching/learning issues important to the instructor, and provides a debriefing

Designing Instruction - process of determining learning outcomes, aligning assessment tools, constructing appropriate activities, and implementing plans for continuous improvement in meeting the desired outcomes

Mentoring - process whereby an interpersonal relationship is formed to improve knowledge, skills, and way of being based on a combination of reflecting on previous experiences, extracting new meaning, and framing future challenges

Assessing - process of measuring and analyzing a performance to provide feedback that improves future performance

Evaluating Projects - process of measuring the quality of a work product or use of a process against a set of standards to make a determination if, or to what level the standards have been met

Social Science Research - process of investigating research questions associated with one's teaching in a way that produces reliable, valid, and transferable knowledge for other educators
