Lesson 10 Perspective:

What is this concept of sportsmanship and integrity? Both terms are frequently overused in sport.   Sportsmanship or Sportspersonship as used by Dr. David Shields is the condition of valuing the opponent, the rules, the officials, and the game. This ideal perspective is often difficult to follow and maintain in a society that values results over performance (Gibson, 1993).
