Lesson 9: Steroids
Introduction:  Steroids are a new issue in substance abuse treatment land.  Most of these drugs are not designed to get a person high but instead are designed to increase body mass and ultimately appearance.  However, the side effects of these drugs often cause a wide variety of medical problems. This section briefly reviews these areas and some problems with using these types of drugs.
