2005 City Population:  475,454

Employment growth:  21.9% (Twice the national average)

2015 City Population:  520,627

2030 City Population:  592,517

The city of Albuquerque has planned many new building projects through the Historic District Improvement Company.  The goal is to revitalize the downtown area through a mix of retail, entertainment, residential, and mix used buildings.  New parking, called "Park Once" structures, are also in the works, to encourage visitors to get out of their cars and explore Albuquerque on foot.  To view HDIC sketches and information about several of the projects that are in the works, click the links below:
