Psychology Peer Advisors
Apply to be a Peer Advisor!

The Psychology Peer Advising course is an experiential learning opportunity for junior and senior psychology students. Peer advisors provide guidance to students who are interested in psychology or have identified psychology as their major. They also earn course credit in PSYC 498, which counts toward the “Upper Division Psychology Electives” component of the major requirements.

Basic requirements and time commitments:

  • • Junior or senior status (58 or more credits)
  • • University of Idaho GPA of 3.00 or higher
  • • Ability to make a one-year commitment on the Moscow campus (two consecutive semesters)
  • • Available to hold office hours up to 6 hours per week between 9:00am and 5:00pm
  • • Ability to attend four mandatory group meetings per semester.
